Payon Stories is an amazing 1x server. Feels long term and worth investing the time. The community is also very mature and friendly. Personally loving the 2nd Jobs and how the server's pace is. If only this server had more WoE guilds attending. That would've been a winner!

I've thoroughly enjoyed my 11 months spent so far on this server. The community is vibrant, the server stability is commendable and I personally love the class balancing changes they have brought. The anticipation for the upcoming trans classes update in the near future has also got me very excited. All in all, its definitely a server that I would recommend for anyone out there looking for a RO experience just like the old days. It is definitely a server worth sticking around for!

Playing PS from the start, celebrating 1 Year in January i can say this is the BEST SERVER ive ever played on. NO "buy-shop" / no money transactions or anything like donations etc!! NO DONATIONS Lowrate server with great costum balancing of classes, also, TRANSCLASSES coming soon, also ENDLESS TOWER, NINJA, GUNSLINGER, TK-> SOON Never been a better time to join.

If someone is looking for lowrate and does not mind some custom stuff - good place to be :) Custom stuff (dungeons, class balancing) is made really well here. You can see that GMs really try to make this place as enjoyable as posssible. Oh and they do actually ban cheaters so that's nice too.

Honestly this server surprised me with the rebalances. Monster exp is redone very nicely and feels like a 2-3x rate (exp more tied to Mon HP I believe). The exp redo lets me level in multiple areas if I get bored now. Winter event is going and the games are fun. Also, immediately upon arriving, people were asking if I needed help and I appreciated everyone. Nice job all! I hope this server keeps on going

Finally a low rate server with only modest balancing changes. Server population is ok, the economy i think is superb, zero inflation. Exp rates are 1.5x with a bit of custom changes which is not too broken. More leveling places available than usually on other server due to the balancing. The community is welcoming and friendly. There are some custom dungeons that I personally haven't really tried yet, so dont know about that. The skill changes are modest, keeping the classic flavour. rating 9/10

I have returned to this server after a break, it is still hands down the best server Ive been on. Staff are excellent and invested. Economy is stable, plenty of parties and community is friendly and sensible. The changes that have been implemented come across very thought through and genuinely make the experience better. I play pretty casually whenever i get some time and I dont feel like Im left behind, I can join in anywhere or catchup if I push. The best, enough said.

Joined this server roughly a month ago, here's my takeaways. -Active core community This server has lots of room to grow, population-wise, but the core community is established. -Fun WOE scene More and more guilds are taking part in WOE, even compared to when I joined, and that's always a good sign. -Balanced classes Classes have been reworked to eliminate annoying elements. Just read they are releasing trans classes soon , super excited to see their implementation.

This server allows for a very nostalgic playthrough of a classic MMO that forged the way for many modern games. Although its been relatively quiet while I've been on, and the occasional lag spike here and there, it's otherwise been a fun time playing so far. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a truly classic RO experience.

Been on Payon Stories for 10 months now and still am having a great deal of fun. Various customizations make both solo and party play viable for nearly all builds without changing the identity of classic RO. No observable drama so far, no staff meltdowns/power trips, just the classic RO experience with better balancing and QoL adjustments. Come grind with us.
